Today’s outfit was inspired by the main Character in my favorite tv show of all time. It’s called Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries on Netflix. It’s based in the early 30’s about Miss Fisher, who lives in Australia, solves murder mysteries, and looks fabulous while doing so. Her fashion sense and whole facade is one to admire. And when I found this vintage kimono from my favorite vintage mall in Idaho (Village antiques) it instantly reminded me of her! And the lovely owner of the store even mentioned to me I looked like her in it. So I immediately snatched it up! I believe its real silk/satin and was originally made in Japan. I love the contrast of the red and blue with the light green on the back.

I paired with it a ribbed red bodysuit I had gotten from H&M to enhance the red on the inside of the kimono.( Click here to shop similar ) It also adds a color contrast with the primary colors.

Then for the jeans, again I’m wearing the same pair from the last post. They are from Y.S.J vintage. Can you tell I love these jeans? I can’t, and won’t stop wearing them! They are just perfection!

The shoes I got from ASOS ( Click here to shop ). I love how the red in the shoes enhances the red shirt and kimono lining. These shoes are so fun! I love the color block detail of the heel and how they are a square toe. I’m all about chunky kitten heels because they are easy to walk in and are very comfortable.

This necklace I got from a shop awhile back and thought it went with the esthetics. It’s a golden lotus flower. The earrings were a gift for my birthday. Not sure where they are from but here’s one similar. I love the retro look of these earrings. They are the perfect mix of Egyptian-gaudy, modern and minimal. ( I wear them ALL the time! )

Hope You all enjoyed this look! Definitely check out these vintage stores. They have a fantastic selection and great prices.
