A Swing’in Time

Hello lovely humans! Man, its been a minute… or 7 months take your pick.
I thought i’d update you on all i’ve been up to.

If you follow my instagram you’ll see that I was in Alaska working at a lodge for 5 months. And when living in the bush there is no internet. well we have a little but not enough to do the necessities… I.e no Netflix!
so not much online presents was had, besides the occasional insta story of my daily coffee habits.
While I was there I was enjoying the alaskan adventure, serving coffee for our guests and none stop card games. ( Let me know in the comments if you want a whole post on my Alaska Adventures)

I also did a 5 week adventure in Europe! ( Also many posts coming from that)
Which that experience was one for the book! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new people and seeing so many amazing places I never thought i’d see. Ate lots of good food, danced my heart out during samba and drank So. Much. Coffee. Whats new.
I’ve hd a lot of ups and downs these past 7 months that have put me in “ruts” I never thought i’d get in. But through it i’ve become a lot stronger and i’ve learned a lot about myself in the process. And am finally seeing the light at the end of a tunnel. Lots of Big ideas hopfully going to come to life in the near future.
So stay tuned
I’ve been vintage shopping and thrifting more than ever, even if its window shopping you can always find me at a second hand store.
The clothes in this look were mostly second hand as well.
This coat was the star of my show and I was so thrilled when I found it at a Lucky Vintage store in Seattle WA. Its a linen swing coat from the 1930’s which makes the oldest item in my collection.
then these hounds tooth pants I got from the same shop. Again, I was so excited to find these because they fit me perfectly are quite comfortable, and best part is they are high waisted!
the last vintage piece in this outfit is this stunning bag.
This bag i’ve wanted ever since I first fell in live with vintage. I had the opportunity to buy it but didn’t. And I regretted it. Then last Christmas, I found one at a local vintage shop and snatched it up.
The last item in this yellow halter neck crop top from H&M. Bought it many years ago but has been my go to summer top.
And thats what i’ve been up to! Nothing to crazy but I hope the future has more crazy things in store! I have a lot of goals and I pray I have the dedication to accomplish them all. Let me know how your doing down below.
