The day of Halloween I’m always scrounging around on Pinterest trying to find the perfect Halloween costume that’s original, fun, but still easy to replicate. This makeup look is perfect for just that! Its so easy and you can add your own twist to it and make it your own! You could “unzip” a skull to reveal your dark side, pink glitter and lace to show off your sweet side, or even a cat face to flaunt your love for the feline species! The list goes on! So have fun with this look, Get creative!
First:
Go all out with your base makeup! Slay that cut crease, pack on your favorite highlighter, break out your favorite lip color and go as crazy!
Second: Supplies You’ll need:
- Zipper(however long you want it to be depending on what part of your face your putting it) Also I trimmed the sides so they weren’t so thick. ( Buy @ Micheals )
- Spirit gum ( I got mine at a Halloween store )
- Your desired glitter ( you can use makeup glitter or just plain glitter from your local craft store. I used cheap glitter I found at Micheals )
- flathead brush ( you can use a paintbrush or a makeup brush )
And that’s it!
Third:
Use your zipper to map out the area you want to place the glitter. Then mark it with a white makeup pencil ( I used NYX eye pencil in Milk ). I decided to apply the glitter first because I didn’t want the parts alongside the zipper to be patchy.
Once you map out where you want to place the glitter take the gum and apply in little sections, let it get tacky, then pack the glitter on with a flat top brush and keep repeating this step until desired coverage. Make sure to go to the bottom of your jawline.
Fourth:
Apply the zipper. The first time I tried this it didn’t work… And I realized it was because I didn’t let the gum get tacky before I put the zipper on. So apply a generous amount of gum directly to your face (don’t apply in sections, do it all at once if possible), then let it sit for a good 20 seconds. Touch to see if tacky and if so, place the zipper on the glue and hold down for another 20 seconds. If this doesn’t work the first time try once more and hold down longer. Once the zipper is on, cut off at the bottom of the chin and touch up glitter where needed
I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Heavy Metal Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy to touch up the areas around my eyes/eyebrows. ( this is optional) Shop Here

Slay, Slay, Slay!
