So, compared to my last post, this one more on the monochrome side.
So if you are one of those people who doesn’t like a lot of color or prefers to keep your look on the simplistic side, then this is perfect for you! I love it because it’s super comfortable, has the perfect amount of fun textures and clean lines, and still looks very chick. This is my go-to outfit for those days where I have to be dressed up but want to be comfortable at the same time.
I started by throwing on this silver pleated midi skirt, (i’d recommend putting shorter, cozy leggings underneath because the fabric of this skirt is NOT very comfortable for bare legs). And because I wanted the outfit to be all neutral, i went with this white tank top, and Adidas sneakers to add to the comfiness.
For jewelry I put on this all-seeing eye necklace! For the past few years i’ve been obsessed with “eye” jewelry and I finally found the perfect eye necklace. I love dainty jewelry for everyday wear, so this was the perfect piece for me. And it was only around $10!
I topped the whole look off with my ‘oh so beloved’ denim jacket that I customized by putting a
“Cat Lady” pin on the pocket.
I love customized pieces of clothing. I think it adds that perfect amount of individuality to any outfit and makes the most plain pieces so unique that it can tell you about the person who’s wearing them. I like having pieces that show individuality. After all, we are all very different, so we should be wearing clothes that expresses that, instead of us all wearing the same clothes the same way. For an example, one of my sisters (the one closest in age to me) is NOT your average girl. But I love it because she knows that she’s not average, so she dresses how SHE wants and it shows others thats she’s different and proud of it! You should be proud of your differences! Thats what makes you human! So embrace your uniqueness and show it off!
