Today I will be sharing my review on Browsense SMUDGE PROOF Brow gel.

This product claims to stay put for 18 hours and is supposed to be completely smudge proof. I’ve been testing it out for a few weeks and I’ve fallen in love with it! Normally I’m not the kind of person who wears a full face of makeup every single day. Call it lazy, call it time management, call it what you want, but the one item of makeup I do wear 90% of the time is brow gel. My brows are quite light and need all the help they can get! This is why I was so excited my good friend Ally asked me to try it out.

First impression:

A little hard to work with since it dries so fast and once it drys it does not budge! I slept with it on to see if they would smudge on my pillow or come off. Guess what? They didn’t! They looked just as good!

Second impression:

I tried a few other techniques that halves the process. And hit jackpot on three of them. Now I’m able to do my brows super quick and have them last forever!

First technique: Suttle/ Natural brows

This technique is perfect for the run out of the house women, who has kids or a full time job and doesn’t have a lot of time but still wants her brows to look fab! Best for ladies who have naturally full brows but needs definition.

Step one: Take a small spoolie (mascara wand with No product on it) and place the color on it.

Step two: Brush through your brows until desired color & desired shape.

And you’re done! Easy!

Second technique: Naturally Full Brows

This technique is perfect if you love the look of natural full brows. This is my everyday brow look. This brow look is what’s all over the runway right now. Full and Natural.

Step one: Take the wand that comes in the package and use the tip to create hair like strokes.

Step two: Brush through with the spoolie every so often to make sure there are no harsh lines making it look natural.

Step three: Repeat the first two steps until desired shape/ thickness

Often I have to wake up super early in the morning, so i’ll fill in my brows the night before. That way in the morning I don’t have to spend any extra time on them in the early AM.

Third Technique: Snatched eyebrows

This look is for the girl who loved having big bold brows that could slice your avocado.

Step one: Use the brush it comes with and  transfer the product to an angled brow brush. Use that brush to sculpt out your brows and to fill them in.

Step two: Use the spoolie to brush through the brows so they aren’t too harsh. Then you can use the brush it comes with to add hairs.

Final Note:

A few things I would change/improve on this product. The packaging is nice and compact but I would prefer it to have a longer handle, it’s a bit hard to hold in your hand if you have both sides open.  I Would also change the size of the spoolie. If it was smaller you could put the spoolie into the the bottle instead of transferring it to another brush. And When the product starts coming off ( after 18 hours ) it flakes off, it doesn’t wear off. So don’t wear it for longer than 18hrs or it will start coming off in patches.

The other thing I’m not a fan of is the color range. There are 4 different colors: Blond, Taupe, Dark and Auburn. Just because. Can see girls having a harder time finding their shades ( they would have to go Lighter or much darker. The dark one is the one I used in the photos. At first I was not a fan of the color because it’s a cool toned color, and I’m used to warm tones. But now I’ve gotten used to it. So if you have darker warm toned hair go with taupe.

I really hope they come out with a pomade or one that has the brush in the product! That would be so awesome! Their reduction is so good I’d love to see it in different forms.

All in all I would completely recommend this product to a friend! I love that you can throw it on and it stays on. Also as shown in this post you can use it many different ways!
